His character may appear insane, and he mostly is, but what he comes up with is a masterpiece of destruction and terror. Hats off to the late Heith Ledger. On the other hand Batman strectchs to new heights to bring him down and unleases a new arsenal of tools, including a slick motorcycle, a faster suit, and sonar. The story line moves fast through Gothom City, with plenty of twists and turns in every scene. The Dark Knight is a must see to all audiences that have a tolerance for this kind of film.
